We meet at the Redwood Coast Senior Center, 490 North Harold
Street, Fort Bragg, CA.
GENERAL MEETINGS: Are on the second Sunday of the month at 1:30 pm.
Some members come earlier to participate in other club activities:
From 10 am to 12:30 pm, we have free sewing, which means you can do your own sewing projects, or participate in one of our group projects.
From 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm we have a potluck lunch and socialize.
From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm we discuss business, projects, and activities, and at the end of the meeting we have a “show and tell” where we display and talk about what we have made.
BOARD MEETINGS: Are at 1:30 pm on the last Tuesday of the month.
The Board consists of our Officers – President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary, as well as the Chairs of each of our Committees. All members are invited to attend the Board Meetings.
HAND QUILTING: Is from 1 pm – 3 pm every Tuesday.
Our hand quilters welcome anyone interested in hand quilting – whether you know how to or not – to join us on Tuesdays. We have a large frame that comes down from the ceiling, and we sit around and quilt and chat. If you have a quilt that you would like to have hand quilted, stop by on a Tuesday to let us know and get your name on the queue. We do the quilts in order. We do not charge a fee, but we do ask that you make a donation to the Ocean Wave Quilters, which is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
